Ben Rushton is a fourth-year graphic design student at the University of Leeds, actively seeking career opportunities in the design industry post-graduation. During his studies, he completed a placement year at Golden, where he collaborated on design projects with clients such as The Coca-Cola Company and Nike Inc. Additionally, Ben is an accomplished photographer, having recently been commissioned to capture the Leeds RAG Fashion Show 2025.

Brand Identity + Visual Campaign

Final independent university project investigating the intersection of sight and sound in music visualisation. OPTIK is a visuals-first, contemporary record label that experiments with translating sound into a symphony of sight. OPTIK serves to disrupt, empower and resonate within the music industry, challenging norms, embracing individuality / inclusivity and breaking the boundaries of music.

Visual Campaign + Retail Experience

A project dedicated to celebrating the collective flow of the running community and encouraging Gen-Z consumers to consider purchasing On Running apparel.



03standStill
Brand Identity + User Experience
Proposing a solution to mitigate train delays, standStill is a mixed-reality application designed for Apple Vision Pro, providing activities to divert passengers’ attention from the stress of a delayed train.



04Flour-ish Brand Identity + Packaging
A brand identity group project for a new gluten-free flour product. Utilising playful illustrations, vibrant colours and dough-like typography to create a modern, joyful brand that appeals to the Gen-Z market. Illustrations by Yasmin Sung.

40Winks is a concept for a sleep tracker and alarm app. The app allows users to manage their sleep schedule by choosing how long they would like to sleep for and what time they wish to wake up by.
